Adelaide to Oodnadatta

We left Adelaide Friday and drove through to Farina, just North of Leigh Creek. On Saturday we then drove on to Box Creek camp some 40k nth of William Creek. Currently Sunday at Oodnadatta 11.00am. We have not had coms any evening at the campsites so this is just a quick post so you all know where we are. We have had a great trip so far eating well and drinking not so well. The old fellas can not keep up with the young fellas!

At the William Creek Hotel yesterday we ran into Ray Martin, yes the one from TV. He is doing a Docco on Lake Eyre and then in a weeks time he is coming back do Eyre Creek and the Simpson Desert. Kevin and Jarrod had selfies with Ray.

Just before William Creek we all had a dip in the Coward Springs, an old Gahn Train Line siding near Lake Eyre.

The Oodnadatta Track is in good condition. Best I have seen.
